Oliver Jackson
ARCHITECT AND FOUNDER
Oliver studied Architecture at Leeds Metropolitan University graduating top of the year and nominated Building Design magazine’s top 50 students in the country. After graduating, Oliver joined award winning design practice Studio Baad followed by seven years at John Lyall Architects in London. Since founding AAVA in 2007, Oliver has led the design and delivery of all residential projects from large mixed-use schemes to private homes. Oliver maintains high quality design and delivery whilst adhering to site and economic constraints. Since 2007 AAVA have also acted as developer, building 2 speculative high quality homes both widely praised and published in local and national press.
Alistair Reid
ARCHITECT AND FOUNDER
Alistair studied Architecture at Newcastle and Westminster. After graduating Alistair joined world renowned practice Allies and Morrison, working on the London 2012 Olympic Park. Alistair went on to work in London and Edinburgh where the focus was on medium to large educational and residential projects. Since joining AAVA in 2013, Alistair has worked primarily on private new-build houses, and rural diversification, leading projects outside of London. Alistair enjoys working closely with clients and contractors to deliver timeless and well crafted buildings. He became a director in 2018, is based in the South West and working throughout the UK.
